Direct access

During opening hours, you have convenient and discreet access to your safe deposit box at all times. Only you are authorised to access it. If desired, you can also appoint authorised persons to whom you wish to grant access.

Maximum security

We ensure that only one customer is present in the safe deposit box area at a time, allowing you to handle your matters with complete discretion. In addition, an access system independent of card technology ensures entry to your box even in the event of a power outage.

Comprehensive insurance

The rental fee for a safe deposit box includes basic insurance coverage of up to CHF 30,000. Coverage can be increased at any time for an insurance premium of 0.15% (CHF 150 per CHF 100,000 of insured value).

You have the option to document access for your own records using an access log.
What happens to my valuables in the event of Degussa’s insolvency?
The customer enters into a service agreement with Degussa for safekeeping.

Ownership rights remain unaffected. Even in the event of financial difficulties at Degussa, customers can at any time reclaim their stored assets based on their own ownership rights.
