Degussa presents newly redesigned gold bars

Baar, April 28, 2025 – As Europe’s leading independent precious metals trader, Degussa is setting a strong statement for quality and reliability with the redesign of its premium gold bars.

The new Degussa gold bars continue to meet the highest security standards while carrying forward the brand’s tradition of evolving its design.

“The historic logo – a split diamond featuring sun and moon – defines the Degussa gold bar. We have carefully refined this iconic design to combine tradition and modernity. With the launch of the redesigned gold bars, Degussa marks another important step in the evolution of its brand. The bars reflect Degussa’s modern identity,” says Christian Rauch.

 

Tradition meets modernity – the iconic “sun/moon” logo in a new look

The design of the gold bar has been adapted for an international audience. The front features the logo along with all key specifications: the metal designation “Fine Gold”, the purity 999.9 and the fine weight. The reverse has also been redesigned: a refined pattern of symmetrically arranged logo diamonds covers the entire surface.

“This continuous brand motif not only enhances the aesthetics but also serves as a security feature,” explains Mario Faulstich.

 

Product range: gold bars for every investment level

The new Degussa gold bars will be available across a broad product range, offering suitable investment options for every budget.

From the popular 0.5 g gold bar to sizes of 1 g, 2.5 g, 5 g and 10 g, the range covers the lower price segments. The redesigned bars are also available in 20 g as well as in widely traded sizes such as 1 oz, 50 g, 100 g, 250 g and 1 kg. The new design will gradually be introduced across all precious metals products offered by Degussa.
