The Gold Britannia has been issued by the British Royal Mint since 1987 with a fineness of 916.67/1000, and since 2013 with a fineness of 999.9/1000. Since 2023, the reverse of the coin has featured a portrait of King Charles III; prior to that, it featured a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II as well as the face value in pounds sterling. The Britannia is available in weights of 1, 1/2, 1/4, and 1/10 ounce. We generally have all weight denominations in stock.
