1 oz American Eagle Gold Coin - 50 Dollars USA various years
- Description
Item no.: 124015/01, Item no.2: 124010/01
Augustus Saint-Gaudens' Lady Liberty with flowing hair and the torch of freedom in her right hand adorns the front of the American Eagle gold coin, while a proud American eagle with an olive branch in its talons graces the reverse. The Gold Eagle was first issued by the U.S. Mint in 1986. Initially the year dates of the Gold Eagles were minted in Roman numerals and only from 1992 onward in Arabic numerals. Like all investment coins, the Gold Eagles are theoretically official legal tender in the issuing country. The gold value, however, exceeds the imprinted face value of 50 US-$ many times over. The 1 oz American Eagle undisputedly ranks among the best-known gold investment coins worldwide. The images are representative of the coin type. We deliver years or motif variants subject to availability. There is no entitlement to delivery of a particular year.
