The Eagle was first issued as official legal tender in 1795. The 10 Dollar Indian Head was minted from 1907 to 1916, as well as in the years 1920, 1926, 1930, 1932 and for the last time in 1933, when the 40-year gold ban was introduced in the USA by President Roosevelt. The Indian Head on the picture side is modelled on the portrait of Lady Liberty. The bald eagle on the value side, the heraldic animal of the USA, appears in different variants depending on the year of minting. Condition: standard bank condition The coins are in standard bank condition and show signs of wear due to the frequency of circulation. Deviations from the specified fine weight of approximately 0,1 grams are therefore within the tolerance range. The images are representative of the coin category. We deliver year dates or motif variants subject to availability. There is no entitlement to delivery of a particular year date.
