1 oz Gold Coin Queens Beasts Griffin 2017

The British mint The Royal Mint expands its product portfolio with the new gold coin series "The Queen's Beasts", each weighing one ounce of fine gold. Comprising a total of 11 motifs and issued in the highest fineness of 999,9/1000, the 2017 motif is the Griffin. The reverse of the coin is adorned with a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the denomination of 100 Pounds Sterling. The renowned British coin designer Jody Clark is responsible for the design of both the obverse and the reverse of the coin.
